Shades Advent Calendar

Shades by Niko was launching its Christmas advent calendar and wanted a film to launch it, plus a cinematic explainer on how it worked and how to play.

Rather than a traditional explainer, we built the launch around a suspenseful mystery, taking inspiration from classic detective stories and psychological thrillers. As the narrative unfolded, Niko gradually uncovered the mechanics of the calendar, revealing how the game worked without ever stopping to explain it.
